Sea Water RO Machine :
Sea Desalination is mainly to provide drinking water and agricultural water, and sometimes edible salt is also produced as a by-product. Seawater desalination is very popular in the Middle East and is also used on certain islands and vessels.
The reverse osmosis method is a membrane separation desalination method that was only adopted in 1953. The method separates seawater from fresh water by using a semipermeable membrane that allows only solvent to pass through and does not allow the passage of solutes. Under normal circumstances, fresh water diffuses through the semi-permeable membrane to the side of the seawater, so that the liquid level on the side of the seawater gradually rises until a certain height stops, and this process is infiltration. At this time, the static pressure of the water column above the seawater side is called the osmotic pressure.

If an external pressure greater than the seawater osmotic pressure is applied to the seawater side, the pure water in the seawater will reverse osmosis into the fresh water. The biggest advantage of reverse osmosis is energy saving. Its energy consumption is only 1/2 of the electrodialysis method and 1/40 of the distillation method. Therefore, since 1974, developed countries such as the United States and Japan have turned their development focus to the reverse osmosis law.


Reverse osmosis seawater desalination technology has developed rapidly, and engineering cost and operating cost have continued to decrease. The main development trend is to reduce the operating pressure of reverse osmosis membrane, improve the recovery rate of reverse osmosis system, cheap and efficient pretreatment technology, and enhance the anti-pollution ability of the system.
