Seawater desalination technology,
seawater due to its salt content is very high, and can not be directly used, the main use of two methods for desalination of seawater, namely distillation and reverse osmosis. Distillation is mainly used in very large desalination and thermal rich places. Reverse osmosis membrane method is widely used because of its wide application and high desalination rate. Reverse osmosis membrane method is first to pick up the water of the sea, a preliminary treatment, reduce the water turbidity, prevent the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria and algae, and then use special high pressure booster pump, make the water into the reverse osmosis membrane, due to high water salinity, therefore seawater reverse osmosis membrane must be high desalination rate, corrosion resistance, high pressure resistance, resistance to pollution etc, after dealing with the reverse osmosis membrane of the sea, Its salt content was greatly reduced, with TDS levels falling from 36,000 mg/l to around 200 mg/l.
